Joel holds a BA in Religion and Philosophy and a Minor in Sociology from Piedmont College, Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology. He has been in pastoral ministry since 1988.

He began ministry in Philadelphia, PA and has served as pastor in Philadelphia, Athens, Cornelia and Norcross, GA and founded two new ministries, in Commerce and Fort Valley, GA. Under his leadership as a pastor, he helped develop the leadership of the church, including five who went into the pastoral role.

bacalaitos, Sancocho)

Favorite sports team: All Philadelphia teams

Favorite vacation spot: Cruising – love to cruise

My last meal would be: A typical Christmas meal from Puerto Rico
