Tame Your Thoughts

A 6-Week in-person Men’s Study - Thursday nights at 7pm at the church, beginning January 15.

When was the last time you awakened to a swirl of anxious, out-of-control thoughts?

Perhaps you were overwhelmed with the weight of worry, the fear of failing, or the grip of guilt. The way we think directly impacts our joy and peace. Ongoing Studies


Daytime Ladies Bible Study

JOY Ladies daytime Bible Study meets on the first, second, and fourth (and fifth, when applicable) Wednesdays monthly (August - November and January - May) at 10:00am in the Choir Room. JOY offers a facilitated, interactive study format. The current study is the Gospel of Matthew. The purpose of this small group setting is to connect with others in both a social and study atmosphere. Friendships are made and there is accountability. There is an additional social element that goes along with this study group - lunch at a local restaurant following the study time, if you choose to participate! Ladies Bible Study Fellowship Class

Norcross First GMC is happy to host this class which meets weekly during the school year. (This study follows the Gwinnett County Public School calendar.) The current study is Exile and Return - A Time to Build. Weekly leaders' meetings (Tuesdays) and group lecture and class time (Thursdays) make up this study option. Weekly Men's Bible Study

The men in this group are currently using Tony Evans' presentation of "The Power of the Holy Spirit's Names" in their weekly group meeting off-site at Berkeley Hills Country Club, Thursdays weekly at 11:45am. This group is intentional in "staying in the Word". Lunch, purchased at the Club individually, is part of this weekly group dynamic. Young Adult Bible Study

A Bible Study specifically for young adults (ages 20 - 35) meets on Thursdays weekly from 6:30 - 7:30pm at the church (Room 134). The current study is the book of Genesis. Adult Spanish Bible Study

Pastor Robert Viera leads a Bible Study for adult Spanish-speakers weekly on Wednesday evening 7:00 - 8:00pm in the Conference Room. This is a great opportunity for parents to have their children involved in Club 3:16 and themselves in a Bible Study at the same time! Anyone who speaks and understands Spanish will benefit from this small group discussion study. Contact Robert at robert@norcrossfirst.org for details on the current study.

Women's Ministry


Women’s Ministry - We believe that two are better than one. Based on that, our women’s ministry seeks to create a nurturing and uplifting community where women can share their journeys, learn from each other and grow both personally and spiritually.


Our programs are designed to address the unique challenges, experiences and needs women encounter while also providing us the opportunity to use whatever gifts we have received to minister to others and one another.


We currently have the following ongoing ministries:

  • Clothing Closet:  supporting our community and mission trips
  • Card Ministry:  supporting our homebound and military
  • Library Food Ministry:  supporting those in our community with food insecurity

Men's Ministry

Men of the ‘CROSS is our men’s ministry at Norcross First. We believe that God wants us to be more than just a works-based ministry and to be more relational in our discipling of men. We seek to be a Christ-centered ministry to support, encourage and walk alongside other men as we 'do life’ together; sharing the love of Jesus with others and obeying God's Word.


Our vision statement is as follows:


Building a Community of Godly Men, by Intentionally Developing Relationships and Making Disciples One Man at a Time.


In keeping with this vision, Men of the ‘CROSS offers a variety of different events, speakers, small group Bible studies, service opportunities and times for fellowship as we seek to follow God’s direction to bring us together as a community of men. We hope every man in the church will be involved. Look for announcements of Men of the ‘CROSS events on the church website, the weekly newsletter and in direct emails to all the men of the church.
